Declared by World Orphan Centre (WOC)
On World Orphans Day we all together raise our voice for the betterment of deprived,destitute, oppressed, shelter less and underprivileged Orphans as well as street children who are not aware about their basic rights and even they are not given the opportunities to know about it. This can be a movement on behalf of Orphans and street children for their basic rights that they can’t say. People and organizations can be encouraged who are working for underprivileged Children. People can be motivated highly to work for Orphans and street children through the whole year. Through the volunteerism and
mutual co-operation we can raise awareness to the people about their responsibilies to the underprivileged kids.
In 2014 and 2015 The day – declared by WOC was simultaneously observed in Bangladesh, Slovenia, UK, Australia, USA, Germany, France, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Jordan, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Malaysia, Afghanistan,Netherlands and Uganda. In Bangladesh, the Centre organised various awarenessraising
programmes in Dhaka and Chittagong
WOC declared 20th April as World Orphans Day
to honor and love Orphans and Underprivileged
Children as it is important to observe a day for
them. WOC and many other organizations observe
the day providing foods, educational materials,
Medicare, Entertainment, clothes as well as
arranging seminars and Speaking out for their
rights. Within 2030 we will address all the
problems of Orphans and underprivileged children
all over the world, to solve it, we will gradually
work till a great solution.
